GREENSPRING IP-RELAY
The GE Fanuc / SBS / Greenspring IP-Relay Eight Form-C Latching Relays IndustryPack Module provides eight Form-C (double-pole, double-through) latching relays. Relays provide complete galvanic isolation between the control side and the contacts. They provide higher on to off resistance ratios than solid state switches can achieve. The gold-over-silver contacts are ideal for accurate switching of low voltage signals, yet the relays are rated to switch one amp per contact continuously.
Logic and timing on the IndustryPack automatically controls the latching functions. To set or reset any relay the host software does a single write to a relay-specific address. Each relay switches in three milliseconds. Logic permits only a single relay to switch at one time. This minimizes the impact on power supplies and keeps generated switching noise to a minimum.
