1553-PMC2 is targeted to support system level applications. Versions are available to allow seamless development with commercial interfaces, extended temperature versions and conduction cooled versions. The 1553 PMC2 provides a flexible, single function, one or two channel, dual redundant MIL-STD-1553 interface to the PCI mezzanine, allowing independent operation as a Bus Controller (BC), Remote Terminal (RT), or dual function Bus Monitor (BM).
